In 2025, the world’s first fret museum was open in Belarus. It is dedicated to the history of fret production of frets and demonstrates the variety of fret models from the biggest manufacturers from all over the world. The creator of the museum was Alexander Edelstein, director and founder of SINTOMS, who personally selected the exhibits for more than 30 years at various music exhibitions and productions. The museum is located in the center of the SINTOMS company’s office, which gives the exposition a special atmosphere.
The collection of the museum includes dozens of exhibits, among which there are SINTOMS frets, as well as frets from American, German, Dutch, Korean, Japanese, Chinese manufacturers and manufacturers from the former Soviet Union.
The museum clearly demonstrates the difference in production technologies of the frets of the largest manufacturers worldwide, as well as the art of fret production.
The opening ceremony was held with the participation of the company’s employees and invited Belarusian luthiers.
